About a month ago, I joined a virtual screening of The M Factor, a beautiful and refreshingly honest film about something we still don’t talk about nearly enough: menopause.
The screening was hosted by The Fuchsia Tent, a community of women holding space for what this chapter in life really means. Not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, culturally.

As I watched, I felt something rise in me—a quiet wave of gratitude for how far this conversation has come, and a softer, more tender ache for the support I didn’t have when I first stepped into this passage myself.
Afterward, I was gifted a copy of How to Menopause by Tamsen Fadal, thanks to K.C. Fleming—and I can tell you, it’s already earned a permanent spot on my bedside table. This book is direct, friendly, wise—and honestly, the kind of guide I wish I’d had years ago.
It’s the book I’ll be giving to every woman I love.
Because menopause is not a problem to fix.
It’s a transformation to honor. And like all real transformations, it calls for presence, perspective, and a strong circle around you.
Whether you’re in the middle of it, just beginning, or simply loving someone who’s there—this is a conversation worth having.
And these are resources worth sharing.
With affection always,
Beth
