#Rebirth
Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to share a wonderful transformation with you! Our beloved newsletter is taking on a new /old name, "Stirring the Senses." But why, you might ask? Allow me to take you on a journey into the heart of what this name means to me.
As an ardent advocate for the enchanting rhythms of the seasons, I've always cherished the green, the delicious, the growing, the beautiful, the magical, and the fragrant aspects of life. With my passion for storytelling, exquisite seasonal rituals, and the art of living beautifully, "Stirring the Senses" isn't just a nameβit's a reflection of who I am and the magic I know that we can create together.
For those who have followed my journey, you may recall "Stirring the Senses" as the name of my first blog, which I created back in 2004. It has been the guiding light of my creative endeavors, and now, it feels like the perfect extension to rename our cherished newsletter. While I adored the City Wytch Secret Tea Society, I've come to realize it's just one of the many hats I wear, and if you know me personally, you know just how much I love hats!
This journey is made even more magical by my wonderful husband, Jim, whose been my partner for over 40 incredible years. Together, we embrace life's ever-changing palette with open arms, guided by the rhythms of the seasons. He knows me better than anyone, and he's the one who encouraged me to return to my roots with this name change. Stirring the Senses is where I began, and it's who I still am. My mother always said that βstirring the potβ was my thing, and whether thatβs in the kitchen or a provocative conversation, it still is. Iβve always believed that a little bit of good hearted mischief does wonders for the soul!
Amidst the enchantment youβll find my treasure trove of vintage perfumes, a playful collection of three cats, one goofy golden retriever, a horse, and a wild swarm of honeybees. Our herb-laden garden overflows with the bounty of fruits, vegetables, and ancient rambling roses. Soon, it will welcome a lively flock of heirloom ducks and chickens! My heart also swells with joy to introduce you to our adorable 9-month-old grandson, Wolfie, who brings boundless love and laughter to our lives. Heβs a huge and wonderful part of our days, so heβs bound to make appearances here quite frequently!
Wearing the hats of a seasoned lifestyle blogger, captivating storyteller, and creator of unforgettable dinner parties ( feeding people is my ministry! ) , my aim is to inspire you to wholeheartedly embrace the art of living beautifully. I am also the author of "Stirring the Senses: Seasonal Celebrations of Love, Life & Food (available here on Amazon) and am currently weaving my magic into a forthcoming book titled "Vintage Roses for Beauty, Flavor, and Fragrance." Iβm also A featured writer for the Herb Society of America. You can read my latest post for them here!

My mother always said it the bestβ¦ β Strive to make everyday a day for candles and wine!β And I have always thought that she was right!
Let's continue to uncover the secrets of a well-lived life and delight in the captivating magic and beauty of the changing seasons together.
With boundless gratitude and excitement for all the beauty, good wytchery and fun to come,
